I find it hard to choose - there are so many great blogs and so many friends I've made here (sorry if i miss you out - I'll get ya next time!)

Freezing

When this is what you see out of the window at 6am, you just want to crawl back under the duvet. 

I have been freezing all day.  You know the kind of day when you can't warm up no matter what.  It is 9pm now and all I want to do is curl up in bed with a steaming mug of Ovaltine, a book and an extra blanket or three.  It will be all I can do to help me face tomorrow morning at 6am!

Those snowdrops tricked me!  It is not nearly spring but the bleak mid winter!

Fog

It is really foggy tonight! I am going to the seaside tomorrow so I hope the weather cheers up a bit.

I bought a valentine card for J but I did make one of these little heart shaped bonbons - very easy to do - and then filled it with his favourite choccies.

Snowdrops......it's almost Spring!

While we were travelling to the coast last week, I got very excited to see snowdrops.  Lots and lots of lovely little white blooms everywhere along the road side, looking all pretty and fresh.  I kept spotting some and saying ...snowdrops, more snowdrops...look lots over there.... etc, which resulted in J rolling his eyes at me and declaring it was like having a 3 year old in the car with him. I can't help it if I get giddy at the thought of Spring.  Especially this year because it is our first year of having the caravan in springtime and it has been so lovely to see the changing seasons throughout last year.  We normally only go the the beach during summer so it has been a delight to experience Autumn and Winter there (who knew it could be so fantastic?), see the surrounding trees without leaves, frost, the snow and now the clean crisp mornings when everything looks bare, waiting for new buds to appear.

It was a lovely bright, sunny and suprisingly mild day on Sunday.  After a lovely pub lunch in Bridlington, we walked along the beach. 

It must be easy because even I got a B
