My current book stack....

I've read a couple of them so I'm doing well!  I've started to read in my lunch break at work and I am really seeing a difference in how much I am getting through so I think I am going to keep it up.  One good thing about my job is that I don't have my lunch break at the same time as the rest of the school because I cover reception duties while the receptionist is on her lunch break. Which means I get the staff room all to myself so it is nice and quiet and I can read.

I am also busy packing for a long weekend at the caravan so I am really looking forward to that and am taking my craft box so hopefully I will get some cards made, along with lots of walking and a Sunday afternoon in the pub! Lovely.

Birthday time ...again!

Sorry for being MIA - I have been busy busy busy at work!  I have so much blog reading to catch up on! I will have to be a better blogger!

I've been away for a long weekend this weekend too, so I didn't have any computer time. But it was lovely and I am all refreshed.

I also celebrated my birthday and received lots of gorgeous cards and gifts, aren't I lucky! I got a new digital camera which I am now trying to learn to use properly.

I also received this lovely card along with some other treats from this thoughtful friend.

Housework v Cardmaking

I wouldn't say my ironing pile was big or I've been neglecting it this week in favour of card making but I stood ironing for three hours this afternoon.  AND I'm only half way through it! aaaarrrrrrr!

Anyway now I'm back to the cardmaking so here is what I am working on right now (sorry about the poor pics btw the light was fine but for some reason I can't get a decent pic of this one)

Ok - time for some Saturday evening family TV, some takeaway food and maybe a glass of wine.
