Don't you just love a bank holiday weekend? Lovely weather, up early to visit the car boot, out walking in the sunshine, lunch, then when everyone else is off doing there own thing, I finally get some time to enjoy a cup of tea and my two new magazines.
This issue of Sew Hip is really good. I am dying to make the sundress featured in it. The writer of the article suggests that you make it using an old vintage sheet so I may have to take the scissors to this one I bought at the car boot this morning for £2.
It's a shame I don't have any girls because it is a king size duvet and there is enough fabric for the Von Trapps.
Oooh, what a fabulous duvet cover - gorgeous! Well done you for spotting it. I haven't been to a car boot in way too long. I must scour the local ads to see when the next one is being held. x

Now I have a vision of lots of small girls in matching pink floral dresses!

Sounds like the perfect day, just what I've been doing too. That sundress will be a bargain if you do make it from the sheet, great idea and at least no-one else will be wearing the same dress as often happens. Enjoy the bank holiday.

Very pretty fabric. Will look great made into a sundress for the summer, hope we get the weather to go with it.
