De-clutter

I spent the last day of my 2 weeks Easter break from work (school) de-cluttering

De-cluttering my Bloglines....thanks for all the advice in my comments yesterday. It's been a great help.  I got rid of the blogs I'm not too connected with and the ones who hadn't posted in a while.  I've halved my subscriptions but it feels so much better.  Hopefully when they start to creep up again, i will do the same thing. I've also decided to limit my time online too.  I've got so many projects I want to tackle.

De-cluttering my wardrobe and cupboards...it was getting a bit crowded in there.  Now it is all neat & tidy and I have the added bonus of a big bag of things to sell on ebay.

De-cluttering the garden.....it has been a really nice spring day today.  Was this really just a week ago?! Lots of washing dried & sweeping done.  I planted a few garden containers too.

If only I've seen this earlier!

We enjoyed a family Sunday lunch and this afternoon I baked flapjacks to be eaten later my my ever hungry lot.  Maybe while we enjoy some Sunday evening viewing

Desperate Housewives

 

It's back. The new season started this week! I am a big fan.

I can even go and cook something from the DH recipe page :)

Ahhh....I am home alone.  Lovely.  No one to cook, clean or help with anything.  The night is all mine.  I am starting with some time reading blogs and enjoying  a lovely mug of Ovaltine light which tastes divine seeing as I am trying to diet and it is the first sweet thing I've had all day. I have a terrible sweet tooth, you can keep your crisps etc, give me chocolate.  Speaking of which, Carolyn informs us that it is Chocolate Week!  Who knew?  Trust me to be on a bloody dieting this week.  Oh well I will have to share some virtual chocolate with you...

Anyway I am now going to watch the final episode in this series of medium which I recorded last night, I've really enjoyed it and can't wait for another one next year!

Wicked!

I have spent the last two days in bed with a cold/virus/lurgy thing.  I am feeling much better today but totally fed up as it is the THIRD time I've been ill this year.  I suppose it doesn't help that I work in a school and my office doubles up as the medical room. So I am in contact with lots of germs and other nasties on a daily basis.  I am hopeful that one day I will become immune to them all. (No I don't mean the kids)

I received my Wicked CD in the post today.  If you are a fan of musicals you will LOVE this CD.  It is fab!  I really want to go to London and see the show but I know I will never get around to actually doing it, well not for a while anyway.  So instead I will crank up the volume and sing along. (When I am home alone, obviously)

I love Saturday evening TV - it has always been my favourite night to sit in and enjoy some family time, nice food and a glass of wine (or 3). At the moment I am loving.......

Dr Who - and who wouldn't when the charming David Tennant is the dishy Doc?

Any Dream will do (My fav Joseph's are Lee & Keith) but I don't know how much more of Andrew Lloyd Webber's strange face pulling I can take.

And Grease, (which I have to sky plus and watch on Sunday Afternoon - thanks to Elaine Paige BTW who was on the radio today and mentioned the couple who 'went' last night, before I'd watched it! Oh well) My fav Sandy and Danny are Anthony & Alison but I like them all.  Have you seen what Sinitta is wearing?  Very strange.

Oh and next week we have the delightful Eurovision Song Contest which I love to watch because it is so bad (we hardly ever get any points so we have fun shouting at the TV and complaining!) and Terry Wogan is so witty.

The school where I work and my sons go had it's roof blown off during the freak storms last week.  It was very scarey!
