I started doing the Slimming World diet and it is my second weigh in tomorrow. I lost 6lb last week and was very happy with that. I can't get my head around why it works but I certainly ate plenty of free foods, didn't feel hungry at all and still lost a good amount. I will be happy with the usual 1 - 2 pounds a week from now on. Hopefully I can stick at this for a couple of months (at least!)
Yesterday I had a Green SW Day (you have to choose red or green each day) so I made a quiche using some free food. You can eat as much as you like of this on a Green Day.
Slimming World Green Day Quiche
Packet of Savoury Rice, cooked and cooled, mix in a tub of low fat cottage cheese and 3 eggs. Put in a quiche dish and bake for 30 mins until golden brown. How simple is that? It can be varied by using different flavoured rice or instead you could use Pasta n Sauce. I thought I might add some onions, mushrooms or tomatos too. It was a life saver yesterday as I was having one of those days where I just needed to eat.
