While I was out shopping yesterday I bought these lovely Ameretto flavoured German Tree cakes. I also got some mini Stollen and some Gluhwein - I love this warmed up at Christmas time. I always have some on my annual outing to the German Christmas Market in Leeds, which is on next week. I also bought a chocolate santa but he seems to have vanished...strange that.
I have been watching Coalhouse on BBC2 - it is on through the week in Wales but here in England we just get a once a week highlight show.
Gill is having a little red & white string giveaway - I could certainly use some at this time of year.
And just look at this gorgeous fabric over at Treefall. I need some to make some christmas tree ornaments. Sadly I looked on the Prints Charming website and can't seem to see it?! Help
On my ' to do list' today
- make some soup to take to work for lunches this week.
- tackle 'Mount Everest' ironing pile.
- make some Christmas Cards and packs for ebay.
- roast chicken for dinner.
The case of the missing Santa eh?

At last! Ive found a great blog written by a northern soul!! You are my soul sister. Ive perused great blogs for months written by lovely talented crafty ladies who live in some wonderful places - but I can truly identify with you and the places that you mention. My name is Diane and I live on the outskirts of Sheffield - I love a day out in Leeds though. I have always loved making things and have recently rekindled my love for sewing (though its harder to find fabric than it used to be! Where should I look?) I love looking after my family and home - but I am not keen on housework! I love to grow things and especially grow things to eat. I love the seaside and want to live there when I am older. I love camping in my tent - I could live in it all summer (except when summers are like this year!!) I love books, film and theatre (often traipse to Leeds Grande - one of the lovliest theatres in the world). I didnt know about the German Fayre this weekend - will now plan a visit (Childrens hobbies/plans permitting). Glad Ive found you.

Hello thanks for stopping by my blog. These biscuits look fab, might treat the parents to some. I'm joining you in the Mount Everest ironing pile - we ought to get sponsored to do I reckon. Chocolate would do! Will be back soon.
