It's a Hoot....

Life is very busy.

It is getting in the way of my hobbies. 

And my blog reading...and posting for that matter.  I will catch up with you all very soon I promise.

However, I did manage to eventually read this fantastic book

and purchase this very cute Owl Ornament Kit from Paper & String.  I am undecided whether or not to make it myself or give it as a gift.

Silly Saturday - part 3

I am having a relaxing weekend at home due to the bad weather. I've had a busy week back at work after the six week holidays so I am catching up with my TV viewing (and ironing), so far I've watched the Big Brother Final (oh no that's it for another year), X Factor, Lost In Austen, Medium and Secret Millionaire.  Next on the list are the much awaited return of Ugly Betty & Desperate Housewives. I did try to go shopping earlier today but the traffic was so bad in town I ended up returning back (remind me not to shop on Saturdays!) So I will remain a couch potato! Well maybe I will switch off soon as I have two birthday cakes to bake.

I have to share this with you - it is my lots favourite TV advert at the moment and causes much excitment & giggling when it comes on in the evenings!
