Baking

Lots of baking this week for a Cake Stall in school in aid of Children in Need. Hard work but lots of fun & so worth while.

Today I am dressed in my decorating clothes (thank goodness nobody can see me!) I've decided to paint the hall, stairs and landing, like you do when you have a zillion other things to do before Christmas ;) Hopefully I can make a good start today and then do a bit after work everyday next week. Crazy Fool.

They Were The Mods

 

 

Last weekend while at the caravan we decided to go and spend Saturday afternoon in Bridlington. When we arrived it was packed with people attending a mod weekend/scooter rally.  I had a wonderful time walking along the front looking at the hundreds of scooters that where all lining the roads. It was fascinating to see the outfits and amazing hair styles.  I thought I'd gone back to the 70s or wandered onto the set of Quadraphenia!

 

Of course I didn't take any pictures of the actual people because to be honest some of them looked a bit scary and I didn't know if they'd appreciate being photographed :) Having said that, after a few beers they still seemed very friendly and in good spirits.  It was a lot of fun.
