Yes, that really is my to-do-list for today! Agreed, it does seem lazy but I have had a hell of a week, stuffed to the brim with work, worry and housework. To top it off my weekend at the caravan was cancelled because of the bad weather. So I am having a work free day today and relaxing doing what I love and recharging my batteries. And I refuse to feel guilty about it. My housework is all done anyway and I can do the laundry tomorrow.
This is the book I am reading at the moment.......
to be honest, the reviews on Amazon where very mixed about this book, some loving it but most not rating it at all. But seeing as this had been sitting patiently at the top of my 'to read' pile since I picked it up at the car boot sale last summer I thought I'd give it a whirl - I'm really glad i did as I am enjoying it. Which just goes to show you have to try things for yourself.
(if anyone would like this copy after I've finished reading it, leave me a comment or email and I will post it on to you )
This is the craft project I plan on starting...........
I have never tried to crotchet before and I haven't progressed very far with knitting either. The thing that worries me the most is yarn. I don't understand which yarn goes with which project. Take this free yarn for example, it is helpful because I can just use it for the project in the book (a blanket square) but it is not labelled so how will I buy more? ummm. Which yarn can be used for granny squares?
Anyway - must dash - have a to do list to attend to! :)
If you want to read a proper 'to-do-list' try this one. I am so excited about Julia's plans for making a skirt block. Something I've always wanted to do!
Sounds like a truly fabulous to do list if you ask me!! I'd love the book if its still on offer - email me and I'll let you have my address - I'll even send you the stamps as I get them for free!!! xxxxx PS my sis is over in Flamborough this weekend and she says that they have 5 inches of snow. xxxx

I like the sound of your to do list.
I've not read this book but I have read others by the same author and loved them.

That sounds like a brilliant "to do" list... my Sunday started with clean bathrooms, wash hall floor, do laundry... and has carried on like that all day. Finally I'm sitting down having got dinner in the oven!
