I have been driving for 13 years and have never worried about driving on motorways, in city centres, traffic, etc. Except for one place, Leeds! I don't know why but the thought of driving in Leeds fills me with dread and I break out in a cold sweat just thinking about it. So I have decided to face the fear and do it anyway :) Sunday was the day I decided to step out of my comfort zone. The first of hopefully many journeys to the city. It was an adventure and my heart was racing on a few occasions but it wasn't half as bad as I thought and guess what? I can't wait to do it again.......I feel free!!!!!!
The pictures are of my son's new house share for his second year at Uni. They don't go back officially until September but they are slowly moving in bit by bit. It is a lovely spacious old double terrace house. I'd love to live there and do it up. It is wasted on students! There are 9 lads sharing the house and one lucky/unlucky girl. I thought I'd take a few pictures before they have chance to make a mess.
Students + beer + these stairs(straight outside room) = very worried mother :(
What is the first thing to do when you are a student moving in? Help your mum unload car? Unpack some of the many boxes? Make the bed up?
Nooooo....put up posters, that is way more important apparently.
