Sorry blog. I didn't mean to go missing in action. I thoroughly intended to post regularly while spending three wonderful long weeks at the caravan. But I got side tracked by lovely weather and day after day of fun. I have enjoyed every minute of our time by the sea. We got back today and am in the middle of unpacking and tackling a mountain of washing. Tomorrow I have a long 'to do list' to tackle, including a supermarket shop, it's like Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard around here. The poor dog had to have meatballs on toast for his tea and no milk either for a cuppa, I am parched. But I'm too tired to even go the Sainsbury's Local nearby so I am just going to have to cope.
Here are a few pictures from our trip.
Walking along Sewerby cliffs to Dane's Dyke.
and watching the dragon boats in Peasholm Park, Scarborough
A display of embroideries at Hormsea Library - all done by children.
I'm long overdue a trip to our east coast. Your photos are lovely. Glad to have you back! xxx
