I am so fed up of my hectic lifestyle lately. I have no free time. I need to blog and catch up with blog reading. I have emails to write. Housework to do. I still haven't finished packing my summer clothes away yet. I am overwhelmed.
However, I am getting excited at the thought that Christmas is not far away. This year I intend to enjoy every minute of it. Starting on December the first, I am beginning the preparations. First of all I plan to sew some bunting and a new tablecloth.
I love a good Christmas book to read while snuggled up in bed and this looks just the job...
So when are you planning to start your festive preparations??
Well said. Yes I would love to enjoy it all too and not get that overwhelmed feeling.
We are looking for a date to go to the Christmas production at the theatre and other things like a lantern parade and Christmas shopping in the evening with a stop for hot chocolate.

Ah, I already have, but I'm trying to keep it calm and low key and enjoyable rather than a frantic shouty time, if you know what I mean ...

Ive already started, but there is still so much to do. Every year I panic and do too much, but I think I will try and take your lead and 'enjoy it' this year X
