A little spring sunshine at last, it's still cold but not quite so freezing. I'm happy with that and now the clocks have gone forward I will enjoy the much lighter evenings.
I have two glorious weeks off work. I've already spent a lovely long weekend getting reaquainted with the caravan and the beautiful Yorkshire coast. We are back home now, but just for a few days so MrFuzz can do his work and I can get some jobs around the house done and re-stock the fridge for son#2 who is in charge while we're away.
Today, (at last) I have finished decorating son#2's bedroom. He's back at home after finishing Uni and he's saving for a deposit on his own place. So his old room is now updated. He is buying himself a new bed and we are having some fitted wardrobes put in. As we speak, son#1 is visiting and putting a blind up in the newly decorated room. I am so happy that one of my lads is good at DIY as MrFuzz and I are completely useless.
Every year MrFuzz buys me a handmade chocolate egg from Sterchi's. It is a tiny chocolate shop in the Yorkshire coastal town of Filey. They have lots of gorgeous goodies to choose from, including delicious Walnut whips and chocolate covered fudges.
I always choose an Easter Bunny Egg (much to the amusement of the shop assistant who always asks for the name of the child so she can pipe it on and I say oh, it's for me) filled with these huge handmade chocolate drops (you don't get this many!)
Time to enjoy a bit of it with a cuppa I think. Hope you've all enjoyed your Easter weekend.
Good on you buying yourself an egg. I was given a posh one from work and it was amazing how quickly it became family property. Humph.
