Apple & Cinnamon Porridge
Hola!
At last we are having some sunshine in England....hurrah! I have quickly done my house work and intend on going to the park for a walk soon. This afternoon some pottering in the garden would be nice. I wish I was at the caravan this weekend, it is lovely to be beside the sea when the sun is shining. Mrfuzz has to work though (poor him!) so no seaside for me this weekend.

What I wanted to post about today was my new healthy eating plan. Having suffered three major health problems in the last two years (two thankfully sorted and one still looming, hopefully not for long) I was really fed up and decided that the one thing I can do to help myself is lose some weight.
To kick start this, I have set myself an 18 Day Challenge I like to keep things simple so I am trying to
- eat healthily
- exercise more
- stick to 1500 calories a day or less
- eat less sugary, high fat, high carbs foods
- lose10 pounds
Instagram is a brilliant motivational tool. I have been posting my meals and also getting some great ideas from other dieters regarding what to eat, different ways to exercise and I love reading their progress reports and viewing their before and after pics. If you would like to keep a check on me, here is my instagram seasideangie so you can follow me.

I am planning on doing some 'What i Ate Today' type blog posts too. I am already on DAY 13 of my challenge, so the photos here are just a selection from the past 12 days. (Plenty more on instagram) I do plan on carrying on after the 18 days, this is just a kick start. The plan was to join Weight Watchers but I haven't made a decision yet. I am really enjoying the meals I am eating and haven't found this all that difficult so I may just stick with this for a while and set myself another challenge.
